Sunrise Technologies, a Triad-based Microsoft Gold Certified Partner was named one of the “Best Places to Work” by The Business Journal during an award ceremony held at the Embassy Suites in Greensboro, NC on August 21, 2008.
The purpose of the awards program is to honor Triad companies that excel in providing their employees with exceptional work environments where they feel appreciated and are rewarded for their dedication and hard work. The Business Journal offered three categories: Large employers, Mid-size employers, and Small employers. Individual employees of the area businesses answered anonymous satisfaction surveys about their companies and employment. The scores generated by the surveys were used to rank employers and generate ten finalists in each category.
Out of thousands of companies in the Triad, Sunrise was named as one of the ten finalists for the Small business category. John Pence, President of Sunrise Technologies, expressed the company’s immense gratitude for being recognized, “Since this award was based on what our employees say about our company, it is really a special honor.
