Sunrise Technologies has been selected as a member of the Bob Scott’s VAR Stars for 2015, a group of 100 organizations honored for their accomplishments in the field of midmarket financial software. Representing a wide range of sizes and software publishers, VAR Stars are selected based on factors such as growth and innovation, as well as industry leadership and recognition.
“Each year, 100 VAR Stars are picked from the best organizations that market financial software,” said Bob Scott. “It is always an honor to recognize those who contribute to the development of our business.”
While not the first time Sunrise has been named a VAR Star, this latest award caps an exceptional year for Sunrise Technologies which was earlier named to Bob Scott’s Insights Top 100 VARs, as well as an eighth consecutive year on Accounting Today’s VAR 100. Sunrise was also honored with a regional business growth award, the Triad Fast 50, setting a record for nine consecutive years on the list.
During 2015, Sunrise launched exclusive supply chain management solutions for apparel, footwear, home furnishing, and consumer goods organizations and celebrated over 100 successful go-lives with Microsoft’s enterprise ERP solution, Dynamics AX. Sunrise was also honored by Microsoft as the 2015 US Dynamics Retail Partner of the Year for demonstrating excellence in customer innovation and implementations powered by Microsoft technology.
2015 was, as noted in the VAR Star report, a year of change “like no other in the last decade,” mainly in the form of cloud technology. While some resellers consolidated to face this “sea of change”, Sunrise embraced the challenge, earning its Microsoft Gold Cloud Platform competency. This paved the way for all of its exclusive solutions to be ready on day one for the latest update of Dynamics AX, which will initially be released as a cloud-based solution only.
Retail Partner of the year 2015
“This has been an outstanding year of recognition for Sunrise, and it is an honor to be named as a VAR Star,” said John Pence, President of Sunrise Technologies. “The high level and quality of service we are able to provide as an independent, agile organization is at the core of our company’s mission. The ERP landscape is rapidly changing and we’re ready to move with it – without compromising that quality.”
