Sunrise Technologies., a Microsoft Partner with the Gold ERP Competency has sponsored a new video, featuring Gartner that discusses the impact of data, social media, consumer demand, global supply chains, and future technologies for consumer goods companies (CPG). Other co-sponsors include Microsoft Corporation and Edgewater Fullscope.
The segment, “CPG Talk in 2013: Conversations CPG Companies Need to Have Now to Compete and Survive,” features Gartner analyst Nigel Montgomery. Executives John Pence of Sunrise Technologies and Russell Smith of Edgewater Fullscope discuss new considerations for executives at CPG companies on the technology strategies needed to stay competitive in a global economy, including implementing business strategies, managing information, and keeping up with the changing worlds of technology and CPG.
“We are excited to sponsor and contribute to this research on the evolution of ERP for consumer packaged goods companies. Businesses need an explicit strategy of how they are going to operate in this global model, and by focusing vertically in our areas of expertise of apparel, textiles, footwear, cosmetics, and home furnishings, Sunrise is able to implement the great ideas of our customers with Microsoft Dynamics AX,” said John Pence, president of Sunrise Technologies.
“We have designed Microsoft Dynamics AX to offer a flexible and agile foundation that can be easily customized by our partners and customers. Edgewater Fullscope and Sunrise Technologies are examples of two companies in the CPG space that are taking advantage of Microsoft Dynamics AX and delivering solutions to address critical business needs for food, beverage, cosmetics, footwear and apparel manufacturers and distributors.” Fred Studer, Microsoft GM, Dynamics Product Marketing
