Sunrise Technologies is Ready for Microsoft’s Flagship Cloud ERP Solution

Dec 7, 2015

Sunrise Technologies is gearing up for the new version of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Microsoft has announced that the next release of its flagship ERP solution, Microsoft Dynamics AX, will be made available to the general public in the first quarter of 2016. This latest release brings the power and flexibility of cloud computing to global, enterprise-level organizations. Additionally, the new release will showcase an updated and user friendly interface, greater flexibility, and a seamless integration between Dynamics AX, Dynamics CRM, and Office 365.

“The excitement around this release is far beyond anything I’ve ever experienced over the last decade of implementing Dynamics AX,” said John Pence, president of Sunrise Technologies. “Organizations have been looking forward to this technology and are ready to put it to work.”

Sunrise Technologies has already completed the updates necessary to make its own exclusive solutions, like the Sunrise QuickStart implementation toolkit and the Sunrise Supply Chain Solution ready for the cloud. Sunrise is fully prepared to support the new release on day one for apparel, footwear, home furnishings, retail, manufacturing, and distribution organizations.

Microsoft also announced it was departing from its previous, iterative branding for Dynamics AX that included years or version numbers. Prior to the announcement, this update had been referred to by its code name, “AX7.” This decision underscores that Microsoft Dynamics AX is a cloud-based service that will benefit from regular updates along with a new, transparent subscription pricing model.
